  16. if he's using Amiback or quarterback with a streamer drive like
  17. the wangtek 5150 or the viper then Amiback and quarterback don't format
  18. them at all they just dump raw writes to tape. I have both types of
  19. streamer drives and have never had to format a tape to backup anything.
  20. Either Amiback/Quarterback is recognizing the tape is allready formatted from
  21. manufacturer or it's just dumping raw writes to tape.
